So on our trip to SC a couple of weeks ago I promised Jazzy and Thad I would be back for them and Im NOT one to break a promise. Jazzy arrives this Saturday and will be going into a wonderful foster home. Thad was on the euthanasia list for this week and that simply wasnt an option. VPFP has committed to Thad and he will be making the journey to Virginia when his heart worm treatment (sponsored by RADAR because they are rock stars) is complete. We will need an approved foster or FOREVER home for him to move into so please apply today at virginiapawsforpits.org if you can help us with Thad. Thad 3-4 year old male bull mix HW positive - starting treatment 42 pounds Dog friendly People friendly Has no use for cats A note from the volunteers Thad was feeling his oats today and he selected the talk like a pirate bandana to get his point across. Fast out of the gate, Thad was full speed ahead on the walk, eager to investigate all the sights and sounds he has been missing during his confinement. But he soon demonstrated that he has his soft moments as well and he was happy to pull up a spot in the grass and plop down beside us and enjoy some down time. Thad has been such a supportive pal to his extremely shy roommate and he seems to welcome the company of other dogs. How can you resist that handsome smile? Welcome to the crew Mr. Thaddeus we cant wait to match you with the perfect family when your feeling all better!
