So onto Volume 3 and it kicks of with an article on what would become the main mecca of deep wreck diving over the next few years - the Atlantic coast of the North Channel through to Irelands Malin Head. There is also an article on John Bennetts world record O/C dive. I met quite a few of the World Record Breaking/Attempting divers (both male & female) at the time and found most of them quite shallow (pun intended) and their motives behind their attempt glory seeking. John, however was a different character; he really was more interested in the how and why Star Trek philosophy of deep diving exploration than the when I or I am egotist. Sadly John was lost on a relatively shallow salvage dive just over 10 years ago and I hope this article is a fitting tribute to remember that 1000 dive. flipsnack/F6CD8B5C5A8/fukmqktt
