So she collects paper clippings and keeps them in files. But does it mean she knows better? She says she served Delhi all her life, but then so do tens of thousands of other government employees. And was she not getting paid to do it? She makes it out as if paid employment, and an employment that gave her so many rewards including several undeserved, was an act of charity. She waited till she superannuated and then took a plunge into public life. How does that compare with Kejriwal who quit a All India Civil Service job (like hers) in mid-stream to enter public life. Now that can be deemed a sacrifice. I think the BJP has erred badly in choosing her. She is temperamental and prone to fly of the handle. She is cliche ridden, and her only claim to be able to do better is because she has paper clippings. Not good enough. I think the BJP has chosen a scapegoat to hide behind a possible setback. If the party wins, Modi wins. If it loses Bedi lost it.
