So thankful for the great people out there who want to give more than receive. I have been looking to upgrade to a new camera body for quite sometime now and when my 60d quit working last Friday I wasnt quite sure what to do next. Instead of getting upset and angry I have been using what Ive got and I am learning a lot about my view camera and the purpose behind it all.. I have been waiting and praying for the right individual to come along to buy a camera from and Tomorrow I will be driving to Asheville to pick up a Canon 5D Mark 11 that belonged to a professional Photographer named Hazel Erikson who passed away a few months ago. Hazel was an award winning photographer who loved to take pictures of birds, nature, lightning, landscapes and much more. When I spoke with her daughter on the phone today I could hear the joy in her voice as she talked about her mother and how much peace and healing it can bring to the soul when you are able to give away something away to someone who will use it to the fullest and take good care of it. I feel entirely blessed to receive this gift tomorrow as I know that it has come from the heart of Hazels family. I have found this all to be very captivating to want to give back to other people who may need something that I have and dont really use or need as well! So excited and Thankful for this Gift!
