So the #ArmsAllStars have been preparing all week knowing that a victory tonight would almost certainly, barring a mathmatical and freakish siezmic shift of approximately 40 goals and them losing next week, give them coveted back to back league titles. The season has once again been a true test and tonights win was typical of the season for the #Galacticos ... a 4-0 win with goals shared amoungst Steven Price, Mark Bagsy Holden, Andy Owen and myself typified the spirit of a fine group of men. ball retention and passing was precision and laser-esque and once the cushion of the lead was achieved with a great Pricey low drive from distance and a phenominal finish from the most acutist of angles from Bagsy we then dropped back and enjoyed possesion that frustrated the opposition. Benno was rarely troubled but his continual instruction ensured good shape was kept minimising the opposing teams opportunities to pregnate a strongly marshalled defence by Andy Owen. Over the season sometimes individual form dipped but the squad always rallied to produce each and every time with class proving permanent over the long summer season ! Next weeks final game of the season wil be no different as we focus to show why we have again become champions in waiting ... 7 days until we are crowned, the interviews with the argos after and an open top gondola to adoring fans on the river anker next saturday ... all welcome !
