So the Pope is against birth control, against a womans right to choose, believes women should be subservient to men, and has launched a negative campaign against nuns while the real problems all stem from the priests, but wait...he says its okay to breastfeed in church, he must really be looking out for women. Vatican Public Relations at its finest. The simple fact is, their numbers are down around the world, everywhere but America it would seem. After the absolute flop of Benedict, and more and more people putting heir faith in science instead of myths, Francis swept in and began making major changes, every single one of them an attempt to improve PR. Some of them have bitten him in the ass, and hes had to retract them almost immediately. Others, he has gotten praise for, and its some of these that should be concerning. All changes by the church come for only one reason, an attempt by the Roman Empire to retain the control over the world that they have held for 3000 years...but by all means, keep supporting them, it keeps my lifelong dream of one day robbing the Vatican alive.
