So they actually have the Nikki Heat books in stores. They have a picture of Nathan Fillion on the back as author Richard Castle, who lives in Manhattan with his mother and daughter and, on the front, the books are identified as being by New York Times Bestselling Author Richard Castle. The problem is that Richard Castle is NOT a New York Times Bestselling Author. The fictional character Richard Castle is one in his fictional universe. But the actual books released under that name in the real world have not made the New York Times Bestsellers list. So what do you think of this Facebook? Could a reader unfamiliar with the show buy a book under false pretenses, believing it to be a bestselling thriller rather than a novelty fan item for a popular TV show?
