So they should have been. The original complainant in this matter - TopicsExpress

So they should have been. The original complainant in this matter went there to be offended. He went there not because he gave an FF about the artwork. He went there because he objects to Linden Gallery being partly funded by Port Phillip Council, and wanted to try and have it closed down. This is what he said: Adrian Jackson, an unsuccessful independent candidate for Port Phillip Council makes the agenda clear in a comment that he made on The Leader. On June 2 he said: “Mission accomplished – the kiddy art exhibition is now closed. Next step is getting the Linden Gallery to be self funding instead of behaving like a parasite on ratepayers. Currently $100,000 PA is spent by Port Phillip Council on maintenance and equipment in the Linden which has been a ratepayer owned building for the last 25 years or so.” This has been a disgrace from start to finish. Linden Gallery handled it badly, and should apologise to the artist. Local member, Martin Foley, should be congratulated for his public support of the artist. And Adrian Jackson should accept he is a sad little loser who should go back to his cave and stay there.
