So this is a the message i just received! I dont see how this response is relevant to any of my post! Im guessing directed towards my record the police post! If so by promoting the recording of police, I therefore am implying that all police are corrupt? SMH People man!! #ferguson You need to be wise not to stir up any pots bro. Im cool with your support for the Brown family. Im sensitive to the discrimination u deal with daily. I served Christ for 60 days up in the 5 points area of Denver back in the late 90s... I lived with a host family to share the gospel, pounding the pavement... Back then, 5 points was more thought of as the Compton of Denver. Today its much improved, but wasnt back then, like 16 years ago. People thought i was nuts- a skinny, white 21 year old pounding the pavement in a rough area, dominantly black, but also plenty of white junkies... But still, I heard it all... Wasnt welcomed by many of the blacks. 3 times while there, crimes happened on the street of my host family. All three times, white cops answered the call. They were harassed, spat at, cursed at... Why werent black cops dispatched? Why not have blacks serve their shifts in these areas? Because there arent enough black cops. Point being, yes racism sucks. But, I have lost a ton of respect for you in the way you have generslised as if all cops are corrupt. You are doing to cops what society has done to blacks. I pray in time u will learn to handle these things with a bit more Grace. Your words, if we lived in places like St. Louis, Detroit, Philly... Your words could be destructive. There is corruption everywhere. Remember, fact, 93% of murders against black people are perpetrated by black people. This should anger people more than the few white on black murders each year. Peace bro... Had to unfriend u earlier. I have some super close peeps who are cops, who have risked their lives at times, and although there are bad cops, the majority i believe are good... At least 70%. So it seriously disappointed me when i saw a good Christian brother towing the Al Sharpton line. God Bless... No hard feelings. Just had to man up and explain why i unfriended you.
