So...this is how I understand Him or better yet, this is how He translates words so that my mind can understand them. So much reading in a short amount of time.. Lets start with simplistic... The essence of the principle of the un-carved block is that things in their original simplicity contain their own natural power. Power that is easily spoiled and lost when that simplicity is changed. Now, might I add, that simplicity will grow and evolve through Him but at the same time it remains simple. Like Ive said so many times before, we tend to make things complicated when He clearly says Ive got this. The un-carved block may be described as natural, simple, plain, honest....it would be you or us, so adequately put. God made us in his image and gave us the instructions for life...so why are we still carving? ...because were human, and we complicate, change, alter, justify, modify and then re modify, think, think, think, go, go, go. We constantly look for answers to questions we create. If I, you, we, stop looking for answers to questions made by men then we might not actually find any...which would be good because then we might actually find something that we werent looking for, which may be exactly what weve been looking for. No long rant tonight, maybe part one of many but this is how I understand God in the easiest and simplest way that He shows me. Complication is not needed. Take for example the bird singing in the morning when we wake. Maybe we begin to look for it so we know what kind of bird is singing and where the sound of it singing is coming from...instead of listening to it sing to us about how lovely the day is and the fact that God has given you another day. All the while we were looking for an answer to a question we created...
