So this was us leaving Carlow, the full peleton! Funnily enough it was the best weather we had during our 14 days cycling around the island of Ireland to spread the message that its ok not to feel ok and its absolutely ok to ask for help we had some seriously tough days, both Wednesdays were tough days, mainly due to the weather but also due to the loss of one of our marshalls. We laughed, cryed, sang, shouted all the way around this country and the support we recieved in the towns was phenomenol, the support we recieved from everyone through Facebook, text messages and phone calls was incredible but the support from each other will never be beaten! Shoulder to shoulder! Met great friends on the route aswell, and looking forward to meeting them on the CAS spinoffs. Thanks again to Jimmy Hutton, Magz Enright were 3 carlow lifers and to Christina Lacey whos a double lifer! People think it was just a cycle and it wont help, well Ive heard of at least one young teenage girl who attempted suicide 3 times in the past, she got our message, shes smiling and came to Dublin to thank the 2 people who helped her, without evening knowing theyd helped her. Thats one life saved so yes it was worth it!
