So today is my Dad and Moms 63rd Wedding Anniversary. They have been such a great example to me and my siblings, and Im sure so many others. We were never wealthy as a family, but both of my parents taught us about being generous. They both have given of themselves to so many and have influenced the lives of many. They have been my heroes for as long as I can remember, even though I wasnt always the greatest son to them. I am so blessed to have them as my parents, and God has blessed them with long lives. I love telling people that my Dad is 85 and still working full time, you get some great looks from people. They have taught us about commitment, and have displayed it to us by their commitment to each other. I know they have gone through good times and hard times, but their love for each other and for us, their kids never wavered. They always made sure we were in Church and led by example in each of our faith journeys. I just wanted to take this opportunity to say, Dad and Mom, I love you both so much, and thanks for the encouragement, support and example through the years!
