So, we are 10 days into our Verizon cellular billing cycle...and I recd a notice that weve already used 75% of our data plan! WTF?? Does anyone have any idea whats going on? Cheyannes use has tripled since she upgraded from the iphone 4 to the 5s...but my data use has more than doubled in the past 3 months. Neither of us stream music or movies, and rarely watch videos. I know the Facebook app takes up a *tremendous* amount of GBs, but Cheyanne doesnt have/utilize that. Ive gone over our data usage with a fine-tooth comb, and there are times when I KNOW we are not using the phone (4AM; times when shes in class; etc.) when chunks of data are being used - so could that be an app update? or, say, a text with a video attached coming in? or an email with a large attachment? I need to know whats going on...of course I had to add more GBs to my phone plan...but I really feel that Verizon is screwing its customers in a bait and switch type scam. Help??
