So we know that God calls us to live in unity, and we know we arent very good at it. When a person says what they believe, someone comes along and tells them they are wrong, and we try to be each others holy spirit, when God has actually given us His Holy Spirit. We all have things in our lives that God is working on as He perfects us, so we really dont have to try and perfect each other. What we do need to do is love each other, encourage each other and build each other up. There needs to be a oneness in us, so people see that we are different, not weird, but different than the world around us. I say all of this to tell you that one of our Churchs most unifying events takes place tomorrow night. If you are in the Sterling Heights area, we are on Hayes Road between 17 and 18 Mile Road, across from the Brewery Restaurant. We are having our Ethnic Festival, and its FREE! There will be about 10 Countries represented with a variety of ethnic food. As the Youth Pastor, we have the U.S., so we make hot dogs, which is usually a hit with the kids. Anyway, please feel free to stop by and say hi, and enjoy some really good food. If you cant make it, have an awesome weekend, and make sure you spend some time with your Church Family in worship of the One who is worthy.
