So with all the news media about Robin Williams depression and suicide, I thought its very sad that someone feels this way, I know because I once felt the same way and almost accomplished my attempt. However, by the grace of God, He pulled me through it with a better plan for my life. I stated yesterday that Robin was an atheist and had no peace and that Im sure when he arrived at his new destiny he would be a believer, like doubting Thomas, he really didnt believe until he saw the holes in Jesus hands and feet. Yes, Robin may have repented the second he was about to go under, but if he was struggling for air with that belt around his neck he probably wasnt thinking of anything other than to kill the pain he was going through. Yes, he was a legend in his own way and made millions laugh at his many voices and humor. Maybe he was good at what he did because he was hiding his real pain. Gods grace is sufficient and is not willing that anyone should perish and (die in their sins), but that ALL would repent and be saved. If, you are a loved one is struggling with this type of depression it is serious and you should see a doctor, but dont stop there, seek wise council and add wisdom to that medicine. Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace... Romans 5:1 Without Christ, there is no inner peace. Perhaps meditation and other psychological techniques can lower our blood pressure or stave off panic attacks; but enduring inner peace is a gift of Gods grace, and it comes only from a personal commitment to Christ. When we receive Gods grace, we receive His peace. Jesus said, Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid (John 14:27). He will keep you in perfect peace as your mind is fixed on Him (Isaiah 26:3). Know Christ; know peace. No Christ, no peace.
