So with how much of a success #MadokaMonday was yesterday, Im thinking of starting this as weekly thing, something like #AshestoAnime or #AshesAnimeAppetizers or something goofy. I want to get people into really good animes, particularly the classics (because thats the basis of animu and really all -I- grew up with). I want to share animes that changed my life with the friends I love and now that we have a way to do this successfully, I think it should be a thing! So what do you guys think? What should be our next adventure? #RWBYTuesday (only because thats hilariously clever) #TrigunThursday #FruitsBasketFriday #SailorMoonCrystalSaturday (Once were caught up to the current eps, I might start marathoning the original Sailor Moon since its all on Hulu!) #SurpriseSunday (which will be a surprise obviously - something I wont reveal until it starts!) These are just to getting us started initially as these are the ones I want people to see the most right now after Madoka. Well of course switch out each week or once we finish a series (mind you, obviously some wont be able to be marathoned all in one night, but we will attempt to watch as many as possible from the get-go!). If anyone has other suggestions (particularly something else for Mondays and something for Wednesdays - remember, they gotta be alliterative!) then please be my guest! I do appreciate older, more nostalgic anime though, as this is the whole point of these events, or something that is REALLY life-changing and/or makes you think/feel deeply. Anyone is welcome to join this other than those that started out with us yesterday and as long as you can be cordial, civil, respectful and have good, mature, intelligent conversation during the viewings (aside from our usual goofballing around), then youe more than welcome. :) I want this to be something that brings me and my friends together from everywhere!
