So yeah, The Incredibles. My favorite Pixar film. Even after a decade. Yup; as of today, its 10 years old. Hows it aged? It hasnt, really. Okay sure, Ill admit that right after the opening interview scenes when were into the movie proper, the sets, lighting, texture of the first action sequence did catch me off guard (The buildings in particular look distractingly simple. Then again this was probably the point seeing as its a flashback). And sure, here and there youll find flaws in the animation. These are the nittiest of picks. In all facets of its creation (the story, themes, editing, characters, voice acting, homages, music, the amazingly expressive animation) it is a masterpiece. Ill even go so far to call it the best superhero movie of the decade.
