So yesterday saw the start of big things (I hope!) Archers Edge created a fun shoot at the ABO Nationals with the launch of the first new 2015 bows from Bowtech (The Prodigy) - People could try out the Prodigy on the practice range, and then, later in the day, After Day1 shooting was done. If you were a Bowtech or Diamond Shooter, you could take part in the R10,000 money shoot. Some things I noticed... 1. Some heavy hitters that were cooking on the range during the day, fell out VERY early. 2. Some archers I didnt expect to see as contenders stayed in pretty well! 3. Wind... the great equaliser! 4. There was a lot of heckling from other brand archers... but a big chunk stayed to see who will take it! 5. As the target moved further away, EVERYBODY was listening to the THUNK to know if an arrows was in or out! But the most important thing was, regardless of what they said out loud... EVERY person wanted to win the money, and EVERY person thought they stood a reasonable chance to take home the Ball!
