So yesterday started off so well, work was fun and I knew that i was almost done with my framing project. That is where it took a turn. They framing company sent me the wrong size frame, the wrong matte (with the wrong size window cut) and since the image is so big no one carries oversize matte board in stock. I called 7 places and found 1 who had one sheet. So a 45 minute job turned into a 4 hour job. Got it done and then realized I have no way of delivering it, my car is too small. U-Haul to the rescue. All done now. But all of this was meaningless when my wife got home with news that a dear friends (practically family to her) call to let her know that they had lost their baby. The happiest just drained out of me and I went into what do we need to do to get you down there mode. Plane ticket bought and bag packed. Now all that is needed is prayers, karma, positive thoughts for Eric, Mason, Misty and the rest of the family.
