So yesterday whilst being at work a lady came to us very upset asked if she was ok and if she wanted to talk about it, she was very embarrassed and said she was ok she sat down and i could clearly see this was a lie..... I asked if she wanted a cup of tea and to just sit for a moment to which she looked at me smiled and said u are so kind thank u and apologised for being up set....she then told me she had just been diagnosed with a cancer that is not curable and that it could become a very aggressive form...... I gave this lady a hug and told her we are there for her no matter what for. I felt a sense of relief from the lady and she smiled, i gave her the tea and just sat with her a moment.....i no that she walked out feelin just a tiny little bit better than when she walked in and it just made me realise..... Life is to short to worry about things that are irrelevant as there are ppl out there with worries so much bigger.
