Some 36 years ago from today at 9:00a.m. I walked down the aisle of Sto. Domingo Church in Quezon City to marry Maria Luisa Dealino. She chose this church because of the long aisle from the door to the altar. As we say in the Marriage Encounter, love is not a feeling. It is a decision to commit yourself to the one you love. Sure, there were and still are ups and downs. It cannot be avoided. But God who was with us as we exchanged vows on Sep. 3, 1978 has made sure that our marriage will stand the test of time. We thank everyone who has become part of our lives in the past 36 years and in a very special way we thank God for helping us keep the marital bond through all these years and we look forward to the years ahead of us.
