Some days at work are AMAZINGLY AWESOME! Today I was blessed to have one of those. When you get to advocate for a person that has touched so many in my office building. I have never seen this man in person. I do not care if I ever do. He tried so hard to pay a bill that he did not owe. He just wanted the debt paid. His insurance chose to make his 2014 more difficult than it needed to be. On 12-25-2014 they cut the check for his care. Finally, this debt as he called it is paid. He is elderly and alone. He offered his last pennies each month to pay it himself. The sweetest man Ive ever had the pleasure of speaking to. So...Between my amazing boss, another co-worker and myself we managed to get this paid for him! Thank you both so very much! It is unfair how our elderly get treated in this country by BIG businesses! Even our company owner did not feel he owed this! I am truly blessed to work for an organization that cares about right and wrong. Thank you Capital Health for believing in your employees, as well as right and wrong! I cant wait for the 3 of us to let him know he even gets a refund! Blessed day regardless of the weather.
