Some of you may have already heard this news but if not… On Wednesday of this week we announced that after seven years Dr. Paul Satterlee has decided to step down from his position as Associate Medical Director at the end of the year. This is a big loss for Allina Health EMS – but at the same time it is for all the right reasons. With a realization that completely taking over the reins of Medical Direction is not really his passion, and three small children at home needing more of his time, Paul made the decision to return full-time to working as an ED doc. In the weeks ahead we will be working to identify a new Associate Medical Director – someone that will succeed Dr. Lick when the time comes. And even though Paul leaves big shoes to fill we expect to have lots of interest in this role. Check out Pauls video. Best wishes, friend.
