Some of you may have encountered a group on Facebook called Liberals Are Hypocrites. This group has over 35,000 members and has been around for at least a few years, probably longer. There are a lot of right leaning groups on facebook and thats fine.. but this group was filled with nothing but serious hate speech. The absolute worst Ive seen anywhere. I reported Liberals Are Hypocrites to Facebook Administrators a few months ago, but at the time it was determined that they were not in violation of Facebook Community Standards. I was really surprised at the findings because I thought most of their posts were clearly in violation of the rules. As I recall though, I may have done the reporting *wrong* and not identified each specific post that was in violation, rather, just reported the page. And trust me this stuff was THE raunchiest, most disgusting stuff -- really bad. My report to Facebook Administrators was back in early June and I just got an updated notification from them that reads: We reviewed the Page you reported for containing hate speech or symbols. Since it violated our Community Standards, we removed it. Thanks for your report. We let Liberals are Hypocrites know that their Page has been removed, but not who reported it. Status Submitted Jun 7 This Page was removed Poof! Theyre gone -- for now anyway. One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind. :D
