Some of you may know that I used to work with SQ. It was all I knew of an airline and I assumed that all airlines were like that. We think about everything, from lights to presentation. Even the choice of words when speaking to a pax. So when I flew with a different airline for the first time as a pax, I was dumbfounded. I was treated as a nobody, and they walk away before you finish talking coz they already know what youre asking for. Im not gonna go into detail but I was shattered coz I always thought that as a flight attendant, regardless of what airline you work for, one would have some level of professionalism. The author of this article made it very clear the flight was sponsored by Tourism Singapore so you would question the integrity. I may not say it often, but lo and behold, SQ made me who I am today, and Im proud of being once part of not the company but the people who made the airline what it is, the Cabin Crew.
