Some people think Im an asshole because I dont respond to them wanting to headline. Would they rather I be rude and say youre not a headliner right now. And you might not ever be. Now thats harsh. But these people have to understand, I book and see so many comedians I have a scale in my head that is honest enough to say lets try this guy out and see what happens. And if it doesnt work out. Then no headliner spot next time. Other than that, I stick to my guns when it comes to booking my headliner. My budget isnt very big, but I will squeeze a penny out of a dollar to make sure the crowd laughs and continues to come back. Remember you aint talking to no rookie.
