Some time ago assistants, adjuncts and professors filled in a questionarie concerning our Institute, recruitment procedures, working conditions etc. Agnieszka Tadrzak on this basis and analysis applied to Brussels for HR logo - excellence in research. This logo means that EU recognizes that our Institute is a decent working place for scientists. The logo helps in recruitment, in grant applications in Brussels etc. Good news for us all is :WE GOT IT! Agnieszko our sincere congratulations. You are great. Mail below was sent to us. Thank you for applying for the ‘HR excellence in research’ logo. We are pleased to inform you that the Institute of Physical Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences comprehensive analysis and action plan meet all the requirements for the use of the ‘HR Excellence in research’ logo. IPC PAS can now use the ‘HR Excellence in research’ logo to help promote itself as a provider of a stimulating and favourable work environment. The logo reflects your commitment to continuously improve your human resource policies in line with the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers, notably your commitment to achieve fair and transparent recruitment and appraisal procedures. Please find the logo attached in different formats along with graphic guidelines for use. We would also like to inform you that, once IPC PAS duly registered at the EURAXESS Jobs portal, the ‘HR Excellence in research’ logo will be activated: since then, every time IPC PAS posts a vacancy on it, the ‘HR Excellence in research’ logo will appear. Furthermore, IPC PAS will be listed in the EURAXESS Rights section under HR Acknowledged Institutions (ec.europa.eu/euraxess/index.cfm/rights/strategy4ResearcherOrgs#P ). Please be reminded that retaining the logo requires an internal review of your action plan in two years time (Step 4), followed by an external peer review in four years time (Step 5).
