Some words are better left unsaid; some feelings are better left - TopicsExpress

Some words are better left unsaid; some feelings are better left unfelt. Be slow to anger my friend . . . Show temperance, show temperance! These words she spoke resonated . . . and rang like a Sunday morning church bell. She wish shed barked, Im not stupid. Im not an idiot. But she showed restraint; remained calm even in the face of lies and deceit. Of attempts to undermine her efforts. Although she could not understand it, she could sense it. That need for power; the need to stamp his/her authority. To show who was in charge; who called the shots. But power is in unity; strength is in numbers, in togetherness . . . in harmony. Just then I remembered the lines of the poem If by Rudyard Kipling, . . . dont deal in lies, or being hated, dont give way to hating, but yet dont look too good or talk too wise.
