Someone please explain to me how this national security adviser pick is not putting politics above priorities? The Boston marathon bombings could of been prevented if the federal government was functionally transparent enough with the information they gather and receive regarding terrorism both inside and outside the country, so that it may actually be used as advice and prevent something. Obviously someone with experience in securing people and things needs to advise the president that his domestic war on terrorism just started, and that we need to better disseminate information down to state and local police so that we can better secure the nation against backlash of our foreign policies and practices. Do you think this was the best person for the job, or do you think it was plugging someone into a position because they will do what you say?
