Something to ponder...Christianity/Paganism. What is clear throughout history is that paganism stands as the antithesis to Christianity. -While pagans worship many gods, Christians worship only one. -Where pagans chants spells and worship the divine in nature, Christians pray to and worship the Creator of nature. -Pagans view the evil in the world as something outside themselves. They are generally the victims of it. Christians view the evil in the world as twofold: within them and outside of them. -Ancient pagans acknowledge a supreme God but they worshipped whatever lesser gods they believe could help them the most. They practice magic (manipulating supernatural powers), which often employed the use of binding spells and curse tablets, in an attempt to influence their lives and the lives of others for better or worse. -From the seeds of rebellion against God, occult power was born, and paganism fostered by Satan and his demons lives and thrives on this power.
