Sometimes I lose patience with people, my friends and family. It happens more and more as I experience pain and fatigue from this diabetes progressing. I really dislike myself when I snap at people or act rudely. I dont know how people deal with with pain and disability every day but Ive got a lot more empathy and understanding for their lives than I ever had before and its taught me to look differently at angry rude acting people. I knew at a certain level that most angry people are hurting most who lash out at others are in some pain themselves but still judged them and sometimes still do. Anyways I apologize to anyone Ive acted hastily or harshly towards who may read this. I always thought strength was never showing anyone my pain or vulnerability. I was wrong. I know now strength is making it through the hard and painful days while still showing others kindness.
