Sometimes I will be in the most inconvenient situation when the tears come and my heart gives in to its wounds. I was in the greeting card section at Target to buy a birthday card for my sweet granddaughter. So many say we or our or us. I still think of Gary and I in those terms, but giving a card like that might bring sadness to the recipient and I dont want that to happen. Today, a couple our age was picking out a card for their granddaughter. As I eavesdropped, it became evident that she is turning one year old and she is their little sweetheart. Grandma would read one and then Grandpa would read one. They were having a good time together picking out the right card. It was too much for me and I quickly moved to the next aisle as the tears came. There was a man our age picking out an anniversary card. That really put me over the edge... so there may be a few people out there talking about a crazy lady they saw in Target today. I miss my sweet, wonderful Gary, my best friend, my love. Its hard today. Love is hard when love is so far away.
