Sometimes as people, the hardest thing to do is release our tight grip on the things and the people we hold dear to our hearts, out of fear that we may lose them forever. But by faith we let go and let God be the mastermind of our lives. I dont know about all of you...But me...I dont need help messing up my life. I can accomplish that all by myself. But with God, by faith, I believe He will restore the things He wants me to have.. I trust that He will lead me and guide me in deep waters, and give me the ability to release everything into His hands... because truly, my life shall be His masterpiece and not the product of my efforts or abilities...Because my ability will always fall way short ...I trust that whatever I am meant to have will return to me, and be a greater blessing and more precious than ever before, before I ever learned to let go....Or if those things arent meant for me, He has greater things in store. I am learning to keep my eyes focused on the future with my eyes firmly planted on the road ahead of me, through the windshield, rather than looking back at all the good things I left behind through the review mirror. My pastor in Glenwood Springs used to always say, You cant go forward, facing the wrong direction, walking backwards.You will fall into a hole and need Jesus to lift you up again. Part of faith is allowing God to bring things together in His timing. He is never early or late. He is always right on time. Its truly a humbling experience. Less me, More God.
