Sometimes being a full-time mommy can be overwhelming. Some moms are better at it than others and thats okay. I for one, am learning how to do it as I go. Today was one of those days where I felt like ripping my hair out. I couldnt breathe. Between waiting in line for 2 1/2 hours for nothing while your children are getting restless, fighting the traffic to get back home. Not to mention battling my own personal issues. And having a screaming infant in the backseat while your toddler screams wanting her snacks and toys, it can all get a little overwhelming lol It wasnt until I got out of the car and took a deep breath to compose myself for the battle I was about to the endure opening that car door, to realize that I am so lucky to have my kids. Period. Tantrums and all. Mess and all. Kisses and boo boos and all. Im the lucky one. Staring at them now, sound asleep looking so peaceful, I wouldnt want to be anywhere else. Being a mommy is one of the toughest but most rewarding jobs anyone can have. And I only have two kids! Nobodys perfect. Parenting is all trial and error. So if you ever feel a little overwhelmed or think youre about to have a nervous breakdown and just take a moment............ And breath.
