Sometimes people ask, Whats it like living in a motorhome? Welp, we got another surprise today, the refrigerator went out. I called a repair shop and the estimate was $2,800. To replace the cooling unit. I can buy a new refrig for a little over $3,000. But its a project to get it in the door. For that kind of money I could buy a pretty darn nice residential box. So, since I have a little Hebrew Blood and am a pretty fair do it myself type, I decided to watch a Utube how to clip and take on the project. I ordered a new cooling unit for a mere $1,300. And will attempt it on my own. Yes, sometimes living in a motorhome is expensive.... BUT... If I dont like my neighbors, I can move away for the cost of a few gallons of diesel... So, all is well...
