Sometimes the darkest times in our life can result in some of the best times. Through my journey with cancer, I have met some pretty amazing people. I am going to be a part of an incredible event called You Night for a Cause. If you are not familiar, please check it out. I was a little nervous at first, as it is a runway show, but after meeting with the other survivors I am excited to just be a part of something so special. Just the other night, we were meeting to kick-off the event. We were told we were going to start practicing our runway walk, but instead we were surprised and showered with gifts. Someone said to me that night, we live in a very special community and she could not be more right. The overwhelming love and support we were shown from so many local vendors and doctors was truly something. Im sending a big shout out to Lisa McKenzie and her many wonderful helpers for doing what they do! Thank you!
