Sometimes you invent something but dont name it... Sometimes you start something and never think what it will turn out to be!! For an example soccer stars are not naming themselves with their nicknames but mostly its their fans who name them... So Im trying to say who ever named this genre KWAITO I respect him/her so much... I dont wanna talk about who started kwaito or who is the king of kwaito all I wanna say is that even if kwaito legends didnt do/record kwaito it was going to be born because if you can listen to the struggle/toy-toy songs you can smell kwaito right there, if you can listen to Sotho, Zulu, etc poets you can smell kwaito right there, so kwaito is in our blood system, we are kwaito origins, when I start my career I always said Im doing scamtho music I didnt know what I was doing untill the name kwaito surface and I said this is exactly what I wanna do... I remember in 1992 going to do my first demo the producer refused to record me he said its impossible to rap in Zulu when there was no zulu rap record around but that was kwaito!!! I love kwaito with all my heart #much_respect_2_all_kwaito_ancestors
