Sooooooo.... I put in my application for graduation and recieved the letter informing me that as long as I passed my last two classes that I would graduate. I was like Ok...cool. Then I read further and it said that I had an outstanding balance and that I couldnt graduate until it was paid. I was like WHAT???. So today I go online to Sheltons website and go into my online account to find out my outstanding balance. Guess what my balance was??????? $1!!!! One freaking dollar!!!!!! I looked at the lady in financial aid and said SERIOUSLY?!?!.... You all were about to keep me from graduating over one dollar? She replied Well when they sent your financial aid, they over paid you by one dollar and you owe it back. I stood there and thought for a brief second about how much I want to graduate so I took a deep breath and said Who do I need to pay? She replied the Cashiers office and I went and paid it. I try to find the positiveness in EVERY situation and the positive note is...... THERE IS NO POSITIVE NOTE!!!! LOL... (Just kidding) Seriously though, the positive note is that the amount could be a lot more than one dollar. I thank God that it wasnt. Im glad that it is over with and Im ready to skip across this stage.
