Sorry for such a delay since the last post. After we were able to see Lenox, I was completely focused on him!!! We spoke to Lenoxs surgeon...at this point, Im not exactly sure what time, maybe 9:30 or 10:00pm. He was very happy with how the procedure went overall and his heart is functioning as it should! Everything that he wanted to accomplish, he did. However, there was one concern. He said that the patch used for his pulmonary tract was a little large and was causing a part of the left branch of his pulmonary artery to be more narrow than it should be. With this said, Lenox may need to have a ballooning procedure or a stent placed to hold this branch of his artery open like it should be and in the correct place. This would be done via a cardiac catheterization procedure, NOT open heart surgery. We are not certain about this yet and will know more in the coming days. This was my understanding after the conversation with his surgeon and after a very long day.... So my understanding may be more clear after discussing it again. We are taking things one step at a time and just so thankful that we have made it through surgery and all of his numbers look good right now. Please keep praying for Lenox! ❤️
