Sorry that posted to fast. Meant to say, he has not had a choking or bad reflux episode all weekend. Its rare for him to make it a couple of days without either so very happy about that. He actually has had only very minimal reflux all weekend. That is also huge bc I have been told by his dr to start putting all of his meds in the g port (stomach ) and only milk thru the j port of his feeding tube. ( j port goes past his stomach to the jejunum bc of such severe reflux.) His GJ tube was getting clogged up so much with the meds going thru the same port as his milk. He hasnt had anything in his stomach for quite some time - I was worried, but its working ok. I actually am putting all meds except one thru his stomach port to see how he does for awhile. Then I will add the last med when I am sure he will not reflux or choke on them. So many things to watch for with Carter. He has been happy all weekend and that means he is feeling good.
