Sorry this is a long status update. I kind of checked out for a bit. Everything that happened still seems unreal....and then I wake up....thankful my boy is here! Some days Tyler feels better than others but he is having more good days now than bad. His outlook and attitude amaze me. He is a fighter just like his Grandma Pat and he is still smiling through it all. They are both an inspiration! We want you all to know how humbled and truly thankful we are for all of the many contributions for our family, everything from cards of encouragement, coffee in the hospital, meals, gift cards, gifts and prayer during this time. Tyler is incredibly thankful as you all contributed enough for him to be able to buy the lap top. (His computer crashed right before he got sick.) You also gave enough for him to save for a little while as he will be out of work for quite some time. Your gifts exceeded any hope or expectation! HE WANTS TO THANK ALL OF YOU WHO GAVE! He uses his lap top for so much and it will be so helpful as he continues to recover. Thank you Kathy, his cousin Matthew and Grandma for organizing that for him. Your gifts also allowed me to be able to take off a couple extra weeks of work to be able to care for him. For that I am forever grateful. I went back to work last week. Its good to know he is now well enough that I can leave him. He was cleared to drive on Monday. So of course he went straight to Abigail ❤️ We would like you to take this message as a personal thank you note from us. We hope to be able to return the love someday when we can. We all go through pain, sorrow and trials in life and deal with them in different ways. I will never know all that God is doing in my trials, but I have seen that He is refining my character and drawing me closer to Him through this. It is my sincere prayer that through this situation the works of God are being displayed in my life. With love and thanks to you all❤️.
