Sorry this update is so late. All of our crews have been out and extremely busy since approximately 4:30 this afternoon. The Towns of St.Johnsville and Minden received the most damage tonight from a severe storm, a possible Tornado. A barn collapsed and an empty box trailer was lifted and dumped in the road, both taking place on Fordsbush Road in Minden. Also a house on St. Hwy. 5s in Minden lost half of its roof. Numerous trees and wires down throughout the County, lots of debris. National weather will be coming out tomorrow morning to do tests and try and confirm whether it was a Tornado. Thankfully we were able to give some pre-warning to the folks in Wiles Park in Fort Plain before the heart of the storm struck. Luckily no injuries are reported throughout!! Nice job by all, tomorrow there will be more cleanup. All homeowners remember try and photograph your damage, call your insurance company, keep records and document all damage!
