Sort of in line with the link below. I went to my bank the other day and needed to talk with a banker (aka college student) the nice young woman suggested to me that I should take out a non-secured loan to pay off my credit card, which is issued through the bank. (She was looking at all my accounts, all I wanted to do was let them know I was going to be traveling.) I thanked her and told I pay the balance off monthly. She then suggested I didnt need to do that, I could save my money for other things while taking advantage of a low interest loan. Seemed sleazy to me that Wells Fargo was encouraging me to become indebted to them. It is easy to see how people can get in over their heads in debt with the banks encouraging them ever step of the way.
