Source: Interaksyon Rebound monster Arizona Reid ‘smallest but hardest-working’ import, says Yeng Guiao Yeng Guiao thinks he made the right decision choosing Arizona Reid. On his second tour of duty with the squad, Reid has provided a little bit of everything for his team to win, much to the delight of Guiao. “He’s the smallest import, but I think he’s the hardest working among the imports,” Guiao told InterAKTV in an exclusive interview. Reid finished with 27 points in Rain or Shine’s second straight win on Saturday against GlobalPort, but it’s his rebounding that has impressed Guiao so far. Even though he stands just 6-foot-4, the dreadlocked import grabbed 20 rebounds in his last Wednesday against San Mig Coffee and followed that up with 17 rebounds against GlobalPort. “He’s going to top the league in rebounds. It’s just his nature — to be where the ball is at all times,” added Guiao. Two years ago, Reid played the same role for Guiao’s Elasto Painters but failed to carry the team all the way. He was given another chance this year by Guiao, who opted for Reid over last year’s Best Import Jamelle Cornley, who had a series of offcourt controversies this summer. Guiao hopes Reid could help carry the team back to a repeat of the Governors’ Cup title.
