South Texas Underground Film Festival 2013 (STUFF 2013) Presented by Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation and Music Walk announces second wave of films with Opening night BBQ and Pubcrawl. WHO: South Texas Underground Film(STUF), Film ExChange, Music Walk WHAT: South Texas Underground Film Festival Presented by Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation WHEN: Thursday October 3rd, 2013 WHERE: Art Center of Corpus Christi, House of Rock and Downtown Corpus Christi FYI: South Texas Underground Film Festival is proud to announce the second wave of films and Inaugural Opening night BBQ and PubCrawl. Thursday will open with Registration starting at noon and BBQ & music starting at 6pm at the Art Center of Corpus Christi. Opening night films will start at 7:30pm in the Devary Courtyard. PubCrawl starting at 9:30 and ending with an After Party at the House of Rock. Opening night films are PICTURES OF SUPERHEROS by Don Swaynos(ATX), SAD BASTARD HERO by Mike Cuenca(Ca), MARY by Zac & Caleb Turner(AK) and THE DISCONTENTMENT OF ED TELFAIR by Daniel Campbell(NY) PICTURES OF SUPERHEROS (Don Swaynos) A feature comedy about an out-of-work maid who gets a job cleaning up after an overworked businessman and the aggressively messy roommate he’s forgotten about, sending her into a surreal world of candy, insult comics, and pretend marriages. SAD BASTARD HERO Texas Premier (Mike Cuenca) A short comedy, shot in 48hrs, about rookie cop who is the sole person with free will in a world where peace has eradicated all violence. MARY (Zac & Caleb Turner) A short film about a downtrodden and sleep deprived Craig, who aimlessly wanders into Mary, who might be the girl of his dreams. After their meeting, curious happenings arise and Craig is forced to confront deep fears. (Film ExChange) THE DISCONTENTMENT OF ED TELFAIRTexas Premier (Daniel Campbell) A short dark comedy about Ed Telfair, a mundane middle-aged man, who’s dealing with insecurities in his life until he decides to take matters into his own hands. *All films are not rated and may contain content not suitable for young audiences, please use discretion
