Spanish Immersion Teacher: BIA is looking for a full-time teacher for its Spanish Immersion program. The candidate must possess a valid teaching certificate in the State of Maryland or be eligible for one. A background in Elementary or Middle School Education and experience with International Baccalaureate (IB) is strongly preferred. The candidate must be able to work legally in the United States; BIA does not sponsor visas. The candidate must either be a native Spanish speaker, or have native-level Spanish skills. Students are taught all core academic subjects (math, science, social studies, and Spanish language arts) entirely in Spanish. The use of English is not permitted in the classroom.
