Sparks are flying Though we differ in our views on religion, we agree on the fact that Love and Kindness can and will change the world. I met you on a plane going to Vegas and I have to admit that I thought you were full of crap at first and then I could see your passion and then you did something that will stay with me until the day I die. There was a little girl who wanted a snack but the mom had no money and then you stood up with a spark card in hand and you told the flight attendant that you would buy their snack. The flight attendant had a look of shock as did so many other people on the plane. You were so kind when you told the young mom to please help you get you 10th spark for the day done. She asked what a spark was and you said a kind act. I sat there thinking I wish I would have done that and then all of a sudden something hit me and before I could change my mind I told the flight attendant that I wanted to spend 300.00 and buy as many people what they want. I asked you (Dave) for some spark cards and you handed the young flight attendant a bunch of cards. She looked as if she was going to cry. I have to say that I spent my 300.00 and from what the flight attendants said there was another 200.00 dollars given to pay it forward. It does only take one Dave to start a fire and the fire you lit in me that day and several other people that day will never go out. You gave me your number and I called you and invited you to dinner and told you it was my treat. I only asked that you bring some cards and you did. I told my top 15 employees that I needed a favor. They all said OK and I asked them to invest 200.00 in the best business that I have ever seen. They all said ok and I collected the money from each and asked them to join me for dinner. I told them that they were going to see a return on their money that would blow their minds. We all showed up and I told you that I wanted you to talk to my top executives about the power of kindness. You spoke for over an hour and there was not a dry eye at the table. You presentation was not on cards or a laptop it was deep in your heart and that is why it hit all of your hearts. I had instructed the manager that we would be buying $5,000 dollars worth of meals. I told the manager we would be tying up this long table for several hours and would tip the person waiting on us very well. The manager asked why and I told him to join us for dinner and I would buy his meal. When you were done speaking I told everyone at the table that they needed to write a note on each ticket an then the wait staff would take their tickets to them with the note. The only thing that I asked them to put on the ticket was your meal was purchased but we did not take care of your tip so please be kind to the wait staff. We were in the restaurant for over 5 hours and it seemed as if it was only 1 hour. I asked each of my executives if their investment was worth it and all of them said yes and if they would have know what I was doing and how they felt afterwards they would have given 10 times that amount. Dave you have taught a group of ambassadors to true meaning of life and I promise you this until the day I die I will be a spark giver. One final note dear friend I have to report to you is that all the wait staff had the best tip night ever and not by a small margin but by over a thousand dollars. I am a business owner that is putting a challenge to each business owner and every person who comes to this page and gets filled to give to this organization. Most of you say I wish I could meet Dave and I say to you every day you meet him through his words. I know they struggle every month and this is the hardest time of the year for one spark because of all the schools they will be in and Christmas. So please think about it on as many of you do, pray about it. Then I want you to give a gift for 12 months in a row and help a man who gives so much give even more. Your number one ambassador.
