Special Operations Equipment Tabata Tuesday for 10/21/14 Tabata training is a High Intensity Interval Training (H.I.I.T) workout that lasts four minutes. While the Tabata workout lasts only four minutes, it is one of the longest four minutes youll encounter. The structure of the program is: You push yourself as hard as you can for 20 seconds and rest for 10 seconds until you complete eight sets. You can do pretty much any exercise you wish. You can do squats, pushups, rows, etc... Any exercise that works your large muscle groups is strongly recommended. Kettlebells work great too. Tomorrow SOEs 20-minute Tabata workout will looks like this: Warm-Up: Stretch on your own and 5min Machine Cardio Plank Row Burpee Air Squats Bear Crawl Barbell Curls Start with Plank Row Burpees, Do 20 seconds hard. Rest for 10 seconds and then back to Plank Row Burpees for 20 seconds. Once you complete eight sets of Plank Row Burpees rest for one minute and then move on to Air Squats and repeat the sequence of 20 seconds on 10 seconds off. Once you finish eight sets rest for one minute and then do Bear Crawls. After Bear Crawls, finish up with Barbell Curls. Here are links to see how the exercises are preformed.
