Spent a very unique Sunday…. Fun time with clay…. At Visual Arts Mississauga… VAM, an enchanting contemporary pottery painting studio. The relaxed studio setting and informal instructional style gave lots of time to experiment and produce great take-home pieces. The theme this morning was ”Leaves”…. And the assurance was none of us were artists.. and we did not have to be one to create our own master piece. It was a fun escape with an opportunity to spend a day in a working pottery studio overlooking the trails of Riverwood Park. The peaceful garden setting was magical…with the barn and the blaze almost there in the trees… the environment was so tranquil … perfect to unwind, mingle and know one another and be creative.It was a great chance to escape from my usual routine, discover the fun of clay work and learn the basics of pottery. I actually created my own pottery!! Ready to hit the kiln…to be glazed. It was a perfect retreat for team building! Thanks to India Rainbow Community Services of Peel.
