Spent yesterday unpacking, bumping and banging around and nailing stuff to the walls. I get what I interpreted as an angry knock on my back door. Great I think to myself...my first complaint from a neighbor and I have only been here a few days. Not wanting to deal with it, I instead tip toe around until its time for me to go to work. I return after dark. I cautiously and quietly move through my place and ever so stealthly open my back door, fully expecting to see some sort of note or letter taped to the door all about how inconsiderate I am and so forth. Well, there was a note alright. A beautiful Welcome card and not one but two bottles of wine (red and white!) All from my new neighbor, Claude. What a nice guy I say to myself. So this morning I go over to thank him. Turns out Claude is not a he but a very attractive she from Montreal...we are sharing the wine tonight! :)
